What happens if you don't renew membership...

AGO Membership
I'm sure I paid those annual dues
My cancelled check I'll find!
I made it out to "AGO"
I can't have lost my mind.
I searched and searched through every month
And no such check appeared.
Do you suppose...Oh no, Oh me...
'Tis worse than I had feared!
I found no check and no receipt -
My membership's expired.
The only explanation I can give
Is that my remember-er has retired!
|
Of all the things that I have lost
I miss my mind the most!
Trust me, the check is in the mail,
Or my name will be toast!!
Thanks for your patience and good cheer
From little red-faced me;
My membership's no longer labelled
"To be or not to be"!!!!
Dear Tamara,
Hope this explains my membership status - it wasn't, but now that my check is in the mail, it soon will be again! I was so certain I had renewed last July...! At any rate, I am so grateful that you e-mailed me the last Clarion, or I would have never known about the concert Sunday night...
Signed,
(A member who wishes to remain anonymous...)
